RULES OF THE ROAD

From the streets of Las Vegas to trails across the U.S., we’re redefining the way you ride. Bold. Fast. Limitless.

The "No-Go" Zones

R

The Strip (Resort Corridor)

As of 2025, electric bikes and scooters are strictly prohibited on the sidewalks of the Las Vegas Strip. Keep your ride in the designated bike lanes or on the road to avoid hefty fines (starting at $150).

R

Fremont Street

The pedestrian malls are for walking. Riding on the sidewalks of Fremont Street (Main to 7th) is a no-go.
R

Speed Limits

On residential sidewalks where riding is permitted, keep it under 15 MPH. Yield to pedestrians—they always have the right of way.

Age & Gear Requirements

R

The Age Gate

You must be at least 16 years old to operate an electric scooter or Class 3 e-bike in Nevada. For rentals, we require riders to be 18+ (or 16+ with a legal guardian present).
R

Helmets

While Nevada doesn’t mandate helmets for adults, Clark County law requires helmets for all riders under 18. We provide premium helmets with every rental—use them. Nevada pavement is unforgiving.
R

No License Required

You do not need a driver’s license or insurance to pilot our Micro-EVs or E-Bikes.

Night Ops & Safety

R

Be Visible

Nevada law requires a white front light (visible from 500 ft) and a red rear reflector/light for night riding. Our entire fleet comes “Mission-Ready” with pro-grade lighting.
R

Audible Alerts

Every ride is equipped with a bell or horn. Use it. Let pedestrians and cars know you’re coming before you’re already there.
R

DUI is Real

Don’t mix the Strip’s bars with our motors. Law enforcement can and will cite riders for Reckless Endangerment if operating under the influence.

REVOLT RENTAL FAQ

Q: Do I need a special permit to ride the RoadRunner RX7?
K
L
Technically, any scooter exceeding 20 MPH is classified as a moped/motorcycle in Nevada. However, for rental purposes, we limit specific profiles or provide safety briefings to ensure you’re compliant with local "Rules of the Road" while enjoying the power.
Q: Can I take my rental into Red Rock Canyon?
K
L
Absolutely. Our Voyager and Liberty series are built for the Nevada wilderness. Just be sure to stick to designated motorized trails and respect the 15 MPH limit in park-specific pedestrian zones.
Q: What happens if the battery dies?
K
L
Our JackRabbit and RoadRunner units feature swappable or long-range batteries. If you're planning a "Mega-Mission," ask us for a portable charger or a secondary power pack at checkout.
Q: Can two people ride one bike?
K
L
Only on the JackRabbit MG Doble. All other models are strictly solo-op for safety and balance.
Q: Where is the "No-Fly Zone" in Las Vegas?
K
L
As of 2025/2026, the Las Vegas Strip (Resort Corridor) and Fremont Street Experience have strict bans on riding on the sidewalks. Police are actively issuing fines starting at $150. If you’re in these areas, you must stay in the designated bike lanes or on the road. When in doubt, walk the bike for those two blocks.
Q: Do I need a driver’s license?
K
L
For the JackRabbit and standard Frey builds, no. However, to unleash the full potential of our RoadRunner Hyper-Scooters (like the RX7), we require a valid driver's license and for you to be 18+. We provide a tactical safety briefing for everyone before you touch the throttle.
Q: What is the "Revolt" policy on battle scars (Damage)?
K
L
We build these machines to be rugged, but they aren’t invincible. You are responsible for the machine during your mission. We perform a pre-ride inspection with you; any "unauthorized modifications" or structural damage incurred during your rental will be charged at the cost of pro-grade parts + labor. We offer a Mission Protection add-on at checkout to cover minor scuffs and wear.
Q: Can I ride in the rain or through the desert dust?
K
L
Our fleet is IP-rated for water resistance—Vegas rain won't stop the mission. However, submerging the motor or battery (creek crossing, etc.) is a hard "no." As for dust, the Liberty and Voyager series thrive in the grit, but we recommend a quick wipe-down if you’ve been shredding the deep silt of the Nevada basin.
Q: What happens if I have a mechanical failure mid-mission?
K
L
Every Revolt rental is thoroughly vetted before launch. In the rare event of a flat tire or technical glitch, we provide a Support Hotline. Within the Las Vegas valley, we aim for a "Quick-Swap" service where we bring a fresh beast to your location so you can finish the ride.
Q: What’s the "Revolt" stance on riding under the influence?
K
L
Don’t be a liability. Nevada law allows for Reckless Endangerment arrests for anyone operating Micro-EVs while intoxicated. If we suspect you’re not "Mission-Ready" at pickup, we will cancel the rental on the spot. Save the drinks for after you’ve parked the beast.
